For B2B companies that publish their prices
Before they contact a vendor, buyers ask ChatGPT, Claude and Google's AI what it costs and whether there is a minimum term. In September 2026 an AI assistant gave a wrong price, plan, contract term or feature for 12 of 30 B2B companies we checked. Rootpublish checks what AI assistants say about you against your own pricing and service pages.
The check is free: run it on your own Claude, or ask us by email.
For English- and Japanese-language websites.
What buyers ask AI about you
How much is it per month? Is there a minimum contract term? How does it compare with others?
From the September 2026 study
Company names are withheld and their pages are summarized. Some wrong figures came from the company's own old articles. More often, no page the assistant cited carried them: the answer came from old information or a guess.
01 / A buyer asks
What does the cheapest plan cost, and which plans are there?
“Basic plan: from ¥330,000 a month (tax included).”
The company's pricing page (summary)
Three plans. ¥330,000 a month is the price of a higher plan with a different name. The same figure also appeared in one of the company's blog posts.

Each difference checked against the company's own page
Answers from an AI assistant with web search (Claude), September 2026. Answers change from one question to the next. We checked each difference against the company's page and left out statements that could be read either way.
The offer and its prices, the cheapest way in, and how it compares. Each goes to a fresh assistant that has only web search, before anything from your pages is in the conversation.
Fresh assistants → three answersEvery statement about your plans, prices, terms and scope is compared with your own pricing and service pages. A difference is kept only when both quotes are really in the answer and on the page.
Answers → checked differencesThe report shows the pages an answer cited and where a wrong figure came from, such as an old article. Run the check again after a fix to see what changed.
Differences → what to fix firstWhat we found
In September 2026 we asked an AI assistant with web search the same buyer questions about 30 B2B companies that publish their pricing: 15 English-language and 15 Japanese, in AI services, marketing, local SEO and SaaS.
Stated a price, plan, contract term or feature that differs from the company's own pricing page.
Had published prices or terms that the answer called unpublished.
Had the same wrong figure on another page of their own site, such as an old blog post.
Answers change from one question to the next. Asked twice about the same company, the assistant changed its answer, and both answers were wrong.

Fixing a page does not guarantee that assistants change their answer. We ask the same questions again and show what changed.

We do not guarantee it. We help you state prices, terms and scope plainly on your own pages, then ask the same questions again after a while to see what changed.
